Long Term Care

Long term care is a service our facilities provide to support the resident in the necessary health or personal care needs over an extended period of time. Our licensed facilities provide general nursing care to those who are chronically ill or unable to take care of daily living needs. New Vista Health Services provides services that include medical and non-medical care for people with a chronic illness or disability. Long-term care helps meet health or personal needs.

Our long-term care services assist people with Activities of Daily Living. These activities can include but are not limited to:

  • Dressing
  • Bathing
  • Using the bathroom
  • Transferring (to or from bed or chair)
  • Caring for incontinence
  • Eating

Our long-term care residents may also need help with personal needs as well. Our facilities are ready to offer the following services to those who need it:

  • Managing money
  • Taking medication
  • Preparing and cleaning up after meals
  • Shopping for groceries or clothes
  • Using the telephone or other communication devices
  • Caring for pets
  • Responding to emergency alerts such as fire alarms
