Joel Waldman – Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Waldman has over 40 years’ experience in the long term care industry. His career started as an accountant working for a CPA firm servicing a wide variety of industries in the Los Angeles area. In 1971 he became Director of Accounting and Operations for a Post-Acute Distributor which provided medical supplies throughout the state of California. He furthered his career in long term care when he became a partner in a Post-Acute Care Pharmacy which serviced approximately 6,000 long term beds in the greater Los Angeles area. In 1992 the pharmacy was sold to a California based nursing home chain, which was on the NYSE, and Mr. Waldman became Director of Ancillary Services for the pharmacy division. In 1999 Mr. Waldman joined New Vista Health Services where he served as the Executive Director for two of their skilled nursing facilities. While he was the Executive Director he also participated in special projects working alongside the VP of Operations. Mr. Waldman has his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and now serves as New Vista Health Service’s, LLC. Chief Financial Officer.

Rizaldo Ricafort – VP of Operations
Mr. Ricafort has been with New Vista Health Services since 2010 and has led it’s two nursing homes as the Executive Director. He led both facilities in strategic business planning by creating a “Win-win” collaboration with major hospitals and pioneered a model of reimbursement for varying clinical diagnosis. He improved over all staff morale and revitalized “synergy” within facilities while providing clients with superior leadership during critical transition phases, resulting in a significant growth of the facilities and improvement in their Quality Measures. Previous to this, Mr. Ricafort comes to New Vista with over 12 years experience in various positions in healthcare from being a Caregiver, Central Supply Technician, Social Service Designee, Director of Social Services, Quality Assurance Director, Safety Compliance Officer and Assistant Administrator. Mr. Ricafort holds a Masters in Social Works with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. As Vice President of Operations, Mr. Ricafort is responsible for the internal and external operations of the organization and ensures implementation of company policies as well as regulator compliance.

Melyn Cadabes – VP of Financial Services
Ms. Cadabes has been involved in the Long Term Care industry for almost 20 years, with extensive experience in the Business Office, Billing, Collections, Accounts Receivable, and Medicare & Medi-Cal Audits. Before coming to New Vista Health Services, Ms. Cadabes worked as a Business Office Manager for four years, first at a 59-bed facility and then at a 128-bed facility. After her service as a Business Office Manager, Ms. Cadabes was promoted to the corporate office and for seven years served as a Senior A/R Consultant overseeing facilities throughout California, as well as facilities in Arizona, Utah, and Washington. Since joining New Vista Health Services in 2006, Ms. Cadabes has become a key member of both the financial services and operations team. She has helped develop and sustain processes, policies and procedures to ensure the continued growth and success of the company. Ms. Cadabes graduated from Ateneo de Manila University, Loyola Heights, Quezon City, Philippines, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics.

Honey Lil Gayares – VP of Professional Services
Ms. Gayares joined New Vista Health Services in 2010 as a Director of Nursing Services. She moved to the Resource Center as Vice President of Professional Services in 2013. As a Nurse Executive, she directs clinical oversight for nursing practice throughout the company. Prior to joining New Vista she has subsequently served in the role of nursing assistant, charge nurse, Nursing Supervisor, Resident Care Coordinator, Case Manager and Director of Nursing Services in Long Term Care. Honey Gayares holds a Masters of Business Administration degree in Healthcare Management, and holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing. 

Crystal Quiñonez – VP of Human Resources
Ms. Quiñonez graduated from California State University, Fullerton with her Bachelor’s degree in Human Communication Studies. During her last year in college she started her career in both Payroll and Human Resources in the healthcare industry. She developed a passion to help others and to provide the best customer service. Two years after she graduated she decided to continue her education by going back to obtain her Master’s degree in Human Resources. She plans to continue to grow and be part of the New Vista Health Services Team.

Alfredo Murillo – Human Resources Manager
Mr. Murillo began his career with New Vista Health Services in 2011. He handled Staffing, Payroll and the nursing schedules for two of it’s skilled nursing facilities. During this period, Mr. Murillo’s responsibilities spanned across regulatory compliance on staffing, time and attendance, and hiring of employees. He has been involved in the safety committee. His efficient skills in communication with the employees was an important role in the Human Resources area of the company. Previous to this, Mr. Murillo was exposed to the different departments in long term care since he was in college when he started as a Central Supply Technician in 2003. He eventually moved into the Assistant Business Office Position and Payroll. In 2008, Mr. Murillo obtained his Bachelor’s in History and his Bachelor’s in Chicano/Latino studies from UC Irvine. He is currently the Human Resources Manager for New Vista Health Services, LLC.

Cynthia Hernandez – Executive Coordinator
Ms. Hernandez joined New Vista Health Services in 2010. As Executive Coordinator, she provides administrative support to the President and all Resource Center Executives. She works independently under general instructions on a wide variety of special projects. She also establishes a system that helps promote time efficiencies and productivity in the company. Cynthia graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Santo Tomas.
