Cesar Hernandez, CHFP
Controller
Cesar joined New Vista in 2015 and has extensive accounting and financial management operations experience in both private and public practice including experience as a Senior Accountant, Director of Accounting, and Assistant Controller.
Today, as the Controller for New Vista, Cesar is responsible for many aspects of the company’s accounting functions including, but not limited to, financial reporting and analysis, internal controls, and treasury management.
Cesar graduated from the University of Santo Tomas (UST) in Manila, Philippines with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, and earned a Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) designation in the US. He is an active member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), a professional organization that brings together executives and financial managers within the healthcare industry to collaborate and address the many financial challenges the US healthcare system faces today.
Cynthia Hernandez
Director of Administrative Services
Cynthia joined New Vista in 2010 as an HR/Payroll Assistant at New Vista Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was moved to the Resource Center at New Vista Health Services in 2015 and became the Executive Coordinator. Currently, she is the Director of Administrative Services.
She provides administrative support to the President/CEO and is responsible for developing, organizing, implementing, auditing and revising current and future strategies to maintain appropriate administrative practices at the facility and resource center level. She works closely with the HR Department, particularly with payroll processing, and also manages employee benefits. She oversees the administrative staff and makes sure that policies are in place to ensure that the administrative functions of the business run smoothly.
Cynthia graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Santo Tomas (UST) Manila, Philippines.
Ed Hahn
Director of Business Development
As Director of Business Development, Ed is responsible for the marketing organization, strategy, and communications as well as all aspects of New Vista’s business development and optimization. He believes in the emphasis on data-driven marketing and customer/provider communication and understanding.
Ed holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California, Irvine. He currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two boys. His interests include fishing, surfing, and spending time with his family.
Jose Bustillos
Environmental Director
As the Environmental Director for all New Vista facilities, Jose is responsible for enforcing policies regarding health and safety. He ensures that all company, state, local or federal health, safety, building, fire and insurance codes or requirements are met at all times. Jose performs regular evaluations on the effectiveness of policies and oversees general operations, making sure that infection control is being practiced all throughout. His focus is to ensure that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe and comfortable manner for residents and employees. Jose believes customer service is a huge boundary in life.
Melyn Cadabes
Senior VP of Revenue Cycle Management
Ms. Cadabes has been involved in the Long-Term Care industry for almost 20 years, with extensive experience in the Business Office, Billing, Collections, Accounts Receivable, and Medicare & Medi-Cal Audits. Before coming to New Vista Health Services, Ms. Cadabes worked as a Business Office Manager for four years, first at a 59-bed facility and then at a 128-bed facility. After her service as a Business Office Manager, Ms. Cadabes was promoted to the corporate office and for seven years served as a Senior A/R Consultant overseeing facilities throughout California, as well as facilities in Arizona, Utah, and Washington. Since joining New Vista Health Services in 2006, Ms. Cadabes has become a key member of both the financial services and operations team. She has helped develop and sustain processes, policies, and procedures to ensure the continued growth and success of the company.
Ms. Cadabes graduated from Ateneo de Manila University, Loyola Heights, Quezon City, Philippines, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics. Ms. Cades also completed the Values Measurement in Healthcare Course at the Harvard Business School.
Ramon Reyes
IT Help Desk Specialist
Ramon holds a degree in BS Information Technology. He is a natural problem solver, helping the company with technical issues each day. Knowing that he has a positive impact on someone each day is highly rewarding and motivating to him. His job involves maintaining computer systems, keeping networks in working order, and being available to solve problems and address issues as they arise. He is a young professional making his debut in the health care industry.
Ronalie Ronquillo
Accounts Payable
Ronalie earned her Associate’s Degree in Accounting in 2010. Her duties include processing invoices, issuing payments to vendors, tracking expenses, processing expense reports and assisting with month-end closing. Her goal is to make sure that bills are paid on time and she always maintains good relationships with the vendors.
Selenne Sanchez
HR/Payroll Assistant
Selenne has been working at New Vista since 2011. She started off at New Vista Nursing & Rehabilitation Center as an Activity Assistant and 5 years later she was transferred to Foothill Retirement as a Receptionist and HR/Payroll Assistant. In 2016, she moved to the Resource Center as the Receptionist and continued to work as an HR/Payroll Assistant. Currently, Selenne is managing payroll for two Skilled Nursing Facilities and one RCFE, which totals about 400 employees.
Selenne calculates and helps to ensure the facility is meeting both state and federal nursing hour requirements each day. While at the facility, Selenne communicates with employees aiding in any HR/Payroll concerns along with managing and offering employee benefits, such as health, vision, and dental plans, PTO, etc.
